I spent many a Thanksgiving with the large gorillas on the TV in the background. Fond memories, thanks for bringing it back.
For the last several years I’ve been telling my friends who didn’t grow up in the NYC area that Channel 9 used to do this. They never believe me, especially since to this day I have no idea what the rationale for showing ape movies on Thanksgiving might be.
