As the next few days are going to be filled with activities not merely time-consuming but conceivably psyche-draining, posting could be lighter than usual, even for a weekend. All will be returning to some semblance of normal soon enough, though. In the meantime, guess the film.
UPDATE: First-time commenter Andre Dias nailed it, and with attitude to boot. I’m impressed, but simultaneously reminded of the truism about nobody liking a spoilsport. I’m sure Andre and everyone else will know where the below image is from; suffice it to say that its disconnections are obliquely apt to my current state of mind.
Well, Straub-Huillet’s MOSES UND ARON (1975). So what?
I hope everything is all right, Glenn.
Thanks Bill. Nothing tragic is going on—everything’s fine, only busy and weird, with some stuff that’s not for public dissemination just yet!
Ah, good. Busy and weird is fine.
Glenn’s sins are so amazing, he has to atone during Yom Kippur even though he’s not Jewish!
He’s not? But he’s liberal and lives in New York! The conservative media establishment has led me astray!
Glenn has been inducted as an honorary Jew. I mean…did you see that ‘fro from his younger days?
