Speaking of Criterion, “Chungking Express” was a bit of a strange choice for one of the first Blu-ray titles. I realize it was shot on the fly, with a lot of natural light, but it doesn’t seem like the print was that well preserved over the past decade.
And I still have bloody California Dreamin’ stuck in my head.
