From Cocteau’s 1946 La Belle et La Bete. What else would you expect? This particular beast was introduced to his beauty in the late summer of 2002, and has been largely beside himself in wonderment at his good fortune ever since. So in commemoration of this largely Hallmark holiday, I salute all successfully paired such beings, and say to thee who have not yet found such fulfillment: don’t give up! If it could happen to this shambling creature, it can, and perhaps will, happen to you. Happy St. Valentine’s Day.

Aw Glenn, you’re a romantic.
“… and say to thee who have not yet found such fulfillment: don’t give up! If it could happen to this shambling creature, it can, and perhaps will, happen to you.”
I was ignored for many years myself so I relate to this sentiment.
Is that Lauren Wissot & a certain bodybuilder? Before or after a heated discussion on the merits of Marlene Dietrich?
