Good morn­ing. You will see a new fea­ture added on your right, a small tip jar. I have long res­isted “mon­et­iz­ing” this blog, in no small part because I hate the word “mon­et­iz­ing,” and I hope to con­tin­ue to be able to run it without put­ting up ads or any­thing. But, like they say, times are tough, and as much as I’d like to buy an extern­al Blu-ray drive the bet­ter to rip really awe­some screen cap­tures off of my com­puter for reviews, my dis­cre­tion­ary income, such as it is, does­n’t allow me to do this at the time. And so, a tip jar. No beg­ging, no appeals, no schemes to some­how get to Cannes on whatever pro­ceeds I accrue. At some point it might even come down! 

I’ve also done one of my too-infrequent blogroll updates, tak­ing most, but not all, of my cues from the great and gen­er­ous Self-Styled Siren. All the latest sites are exem­plary and fun and worth your time.
