There will be no Foreign Region DVD Report at The Daily Notebook today. Nor will there be a Topics column at The Daily Notebook at the end of the week. This is so not to distract from the very excellent Cannes coverage that’s become the main brief of The Daily Notebook for the time being. And see how nice it sound, when you refer to it as “The Daily Notebook?” The columns will pick up again next week.
UPDATE: My Twitter followers should know that I am deactivating that account, which turned out to be a lot more trouble than it was worth. Sorry, I just shouldn’t be allowed near certain forms of social media.
