I entirely agree that this blog has been prac­tic­ally chok­ing in self-indulgence so I’ll keep this brief. My pri­or char­ac­ter­iz­a­tions of the truly great Ray Pride were based on mis­in­form­a­tion and some entirely avoid­able con­fu­sion on my part. So I wanted to offer the man a pub­lic apo­logy.
