    Would love for you to be right about Melissa McCarthy, but I can­’t ima­gine why you think it’s a race between her and Bejo. Octavia Spencer has won just about every sig­ni­fic­ant pre­curs­or award, and I can­’t see her los­ing now.
    As for Dujardin hurt­ing his chances with that SNL appear­ance, I’d say not likely, for one of two reasons:
    1) Most bal­lots were prob­ably turned in before that show aired.
    2) Few Academy voters saw it.
