  I read and thor­oughly enjoyed GONE GIRL. I also LOVE the cast­ing of the film. That being said, I’m pretty iffy on Fincher as the dir­ect­or. I don’t feel like the sub­ject fits what he does best (icy pro­ced­ur­al, for one) because the book has all sorts of twists and turns and is very much a noir. It’s also pretty fun, wickedly so. All not Fincher’s area in my opin­ion. We shall see. Clever cov­er there though!
