  • The Ground We Won is bloody wonderful. I saw a test screening at the Lido in Hamilton late last year, and the polished final version (with film makers in attendance) at the Tivoli in Cambridge just recently. It offers rare (and respectful) insights into small town NZ culture; a place of maleness I haven’t encountered since I played rugby in South Taranaki, many years ago.
