Wu-Tang? Finally, apart from the occasional mention of Tone Loc, some love for Hip Hop on this here blog! I say: Bring it on.
Also, I’ve shied away from buying “Something Else” on CD, because I’ve heard that the Mono mix was used, and not the preferred (in this case) Stereo version. Has anyone any thoughts on that?

  • The cover art on that Charlie Parker set is hideous. (I have the 8CD Complete Savoy & Dial Studio Recordings box, from which I culled the master takes for iPod listening.)

  • Glenn Kenny says:

@PD Freeman: Yeah, I did more or less the same with my Savoy and Dial recordings. The box with the hideous cover is the Verve masters.
