My continuing difficulties in properly watching audiovisual materials inspires a more ruminative variation on the Foreign Region DVD Report this week. Some thoughts on how the Warner Archive has made overseas shopping a little less necessary, and a note that help is supposedly on the way, at The Daily Notebook, as has been the custom of this feature for a little over two years now.

MERRILL’S MARAUDERS was a regular Warner Home Video release back in 2007.
2008, actually, April, to be exact, almost a year after I reviewed the French disc of it, which came out in 2006, and I bought in March of 2007. But you’re right, it was a regular Warner release, not a Warner Archive issue, so give yourself a medal.
Huh. Well, if you ever really run short of things to write up, I’ll be happy to send you my “DVDs to Buy” spreadsheet, which has, at present count, 476 entries on the “Import” tab.
