I’ve never found The Three Stooges remotely funny either.
One of the weirdest things in Randall Kleiser’s sexy goyfest “The Summer Lovers” is a sequence in which the ménage à trois repair to a Three Stooges film festival.
Not a Three Stooges fan either. Good physical timing, but that’s about the only praise I could give them.

Good anarchic physical comedy can be EVERYTHING, properly done.
Both the original Three Stooges and early Farrelly brothers share that aptitude. And the loss of that by the Farrelly brothers as they aged makes this project seem so deeply tragic.
