It’s interesting that Billy Gray discussed his working with Sirk. I wonder if he saw the remake of “The Day the Earth Stood Still”?
As for “Interlude”, that’s one of the few Universal Sirk films I haven’t seen. I suspect the production was troubled from the start simply because they could not film Cain’s book as written, with the gay relationship,
Malone was one of the highlights of Basic Instinct. Still a stunning woman.
