Much has been made in recent times of iTunes-random’s shuffle’s ability to pick exactly the right song, at the right time, despite Apple’s insistence that random is completely RNDom.
I’ll come back to this at some point with some more examples of the voodoo at work here, but suffice to say, for the time being, that iTunes following A Fistful of Dollars with Minas de cobre by Calexico is as good a segue as I have ever experienced and (shush), it does this sort of thing all the flamin’ time.
